EHCP Parent Guidance Session
Understand Your Child’s EHCP with Clarity and Confidence
Navigating an Education, Health and Care Plan can feel overwhelming. Many parents are unsure what their child’s plan actually says, how it connects to day-to-day learning, or what questions to ask at school meetings.
This session gives you a clear, practical walkthrough of your child’s EHCP — helping you understand what’s in it, how it relates to your child’s learning, and how to feel more confident in conversations with schools and professionals.
Sessions are 60 minutes, one-to-one, and cost £120. To book, please get in touch through our contact page.
What This Session Covers
We’ll sit down with you and go through your child’s EHCP in plain language. This includes:
- Breaking down the key sections so you understand what each part means
- Explaining how provision and outcomes relate to your child’s day-to-day learning
- Helping you spot areas where the plan may lack detail or clarity
- Talking through what to look for in school reports and feedback
- Helping you prepare questions for upcoming meetings with school or your local authority
- Discussing practical next steps you can take to support your child
How This Helps You
After the session, you’ll:
- Understand what your child’s EHCP actually says and what it should mean in practice
- Feel more confident going into meetings with schools and professionals
- Know what questions to ask and what to look for
- Have a clearer sense of whether your child is getting the support outlined in their plan
- Leave with practical next steps

- Have an EHCP in place but find it difficult to understand
- Feel unsure whether their child’s current support matches what’s in the plan
